PURPOSE:To realize excellent paper feeding performance, to reduce the staining of a pressure roller, and to secure sufficient durability by providing a heat roller with a film layer formed by baking powder of fluororesin. CONSTITUTION:The heat roller 1 consists of a mandrel 2, a base layer 3 which covers the outer peripheral surface of the mandrel 2, and the film layer 4 formed by baking the powder of the fluororesin applied on the surface of the base layer. Paper to be fixed where a toner image is formed is clamped and sent in between the heat roller 1 and pressure roller 10 and the toner is fused by heat and also pressed to fix the toner image on the paper. At this time, the film layer on the surface of the heat roller is formed of the fluororesin which is roughened into rounded projections and recesses, so the toner which is fused is hard to stick on the paper to be fixed. The film layer is formed by baking the fluororesin powder, so the durability is excellent. |
