PURPOSE:To stabilize water plase/oil phase/water phase type multiemulsions and failitate their preparation by dispersing higher alcohols in water phase components, and mixing an emulsion of the 1st stage with this. CONSTITUTION:Such a lipophilic emulsifier of which the oil phase forms a W/O type emulsion is dissolved in a prescribed oil phase component and water or the like are mixed with this and these are emulsified and dispersed, whereby a water-in- oil type emulsion is prepd., as the 1st stage. Next, as the 2nd stage, >= one kinds of higher alcohols are dispersed together with such a hydrophilic emulsifier of which the oil phase component forms an oil-in-water type emulsion into the water phase components. The W/O type emulsion prepd. in the 1st stage is mixed with such water phase components, and finally W/O/W type multiemulsions are produced. According to this method, the multiemulsions stable in a wide range from mulky liquid up to creamy state are produced. |
