PURPOSE:To lessen dependence of a processing temperature, and to obtain the excellent graininess and preservation of the titled material by forming a microcapsule composed of a core substance of a silver halide particle and an outershell of gelatin which is formed around said core substance by dispersing said core substance in specified polymer and oil. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide particle contd. in a silver halide emulsion layer, is dispersed in the microcapsule, and said microcapsule contains a polymer which has a main chain composed substantially of a hydrocarbon chain and is substituted the part of said main chain with a hydrophilic group contg. a nitrogen atom having a lone pair, hydroxy group, carboxyl group, sulfonic acid group or an ether bond, in a dissolved state. The wall material constituted of the outer shell of the microcapsule is exemplified by a polyurea resin, melamine, a formaldehyde resin or gelatin, and preferably, the gelatin. thus, the dependence of the processing temperature, the graininess and the preservation of the titled material are improved. |
