METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRANSMITTING DIGITAL DATA THROUGH RADIO COMMUNICATION LINE

PURPOSE: To send correct data at a high speed by sending a data packet from a sender, checking the packet at a receiver side, returning a binary coding signal of data to identify a packet not correctly received, sending again the packet from the sender and repeating the processing operation. CONSTITUTION: A transceiver DOM 52 sends N-sets of packets to a transceiver DEM 56 and the DEM 56 sends an acknowledgement signal to the DOM 52. The acknowledgement signal is configured with a bit map where one-bit corresponding to each packet to identify which transmission packets are correctly received and it is denoted how many new packets are able to be received by the DEM at a succeeding transmission. The DOM 52 decides packets to be sent next based on the acknowledgement signal. The DOM 52 sends again other burst including some or all packets having already been sent or sends a new burst including N-sets of packets not sent before. This process is continued till all the messages going to be sent by the sender are correctly received by the DEM.
