Mortice lock

In the mortice lock, the bolt has a cross-sectional shape which corresponds to a rectangle (3) on which a protrusion (4) is provided on at least one narrow side. The width of the protrusion (4) is smaller than the width of the rectangle (3). The shape of the cutout (2) in the lock case front (1) corresponds accurately to the shape of the bolt cross-section. As a result of this design of the bolt, the lock is able to withstand higher side loadings. <IMAGE>
