<p>An axial slide type objective lens driving device of the type which is applied to an optical information recording/reproduction apparatus and drives an objective lens using a permanent magnet and a controlling coil; wherein a permanent magnet (111) which has multiple poles and is magnetized is disposed in a movable unit (101), a focus controlling coil (105) and a plurality of track controlling coils (106) are disposed on a base yoke (102) which is a fixed unit, notches (136a), (136b) are formed at those positions facing the boundary portions of the magnetic poles of the permanent magnet (111) on the base yoke (102), and the track controlling coils (106) are disposed in the notches (136a), (136b), in order to improve reliability of focusing and track adjustment operations of the objective lens and to reduce the number of components in the apparatus as a whole.</p> |
