PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition excellent in low-temperature mold release and giving a molding excellent in surface gloss, mechanical strengths, flame retardancy, etc., by mixing a specified modified polyester with a halogenated diphenyl ether compound, Sb2O3 and a reinforcing filler. CONSTITUTION:A modified polyester (A) is obtained by mixing a polyalkylene terephthalate (a), preferably polyethylene terephthalate or polybutylene terephthalate, with a polyoxyalkylene compound (b) having at least one organic acid metal salt group in the molecule. 98-20pts.wt. component A is mixed with 1-20pts.wt. halogenated diphenyl ether (B) of the formula (wherein X1-2 are each Br or Cl, m and n are each 2-5, and m+n is 4-10), e.g., decabromodiphenyl ether, 1-20pts.wt. Sb2O3 (C) and 0-65pts.wt., preferably, 10-55pts.wt. reinforcing filler (D), preferably a glass fiber or a mineral fiber. |
