In a tool holder (1) for rotating tools (2), the drive axis (5) of the machine spindle (3) and the tool axis (4) are to be aligned as accurately as possible. The appropriate adjustment is made outside the machine. To this end, at least two interacting, mutually rotatable eccentric elements (8/10) are arranged between tool axis (4) and drive axis (5). The centring can thus be carried out outside the machine and only brief downtimes are necessary. The compact type of construction with centrally arranged masses permits a high cutting speed and a very long life of the tool (2). <IMAGE>
