PURPOSE:To prevent a disk from flawing by alleviating a shock against the disk by a buffer material provided in a cartridge main body. CONSTITUTION:The titled cartridge is constitutive of an upper side cartridge main body 1 and a lower side cartridge main body 4, and then the disk 2 is housed in between these upper and lower cartridge main bodies 1 and 4, whereas a guide 1A formed larger than the outer circumference of this disk 2 is provided to the lower side cartridge main body 4 on the side of the disk 2, while the buffer material 3 is provided to the upper and lower cartridge main bodies 1 and 4 on their inner surfaces in the vicinity of the inner circumferential side of this guide 1A. When this buffer material 3 is provided on the inner surfaces of the upper and lower cartridge main bodies 1 and 4, the buffer material 3 is formed with a gap in some measure from the disk 2. Consequently, in case of a fall or a shock received externally, the surface of the disk 2 will never come in contact with the inner surfaces of the upper and lower cartridge main bodies 1 and 4 because of the buffer material 3, and the shock given to the disk 2 against the upper and lower cartridge main bodies 1 and 4 will be buffered. By this method, the disk 2 is protected effectively.
