Disclosed is a light-silver silver halide color photographic material, having a blue sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, a green sensitive silver halide emulsion and a red sensitive silver halide emulsion on a support; which comprises said red sensitive silver halide emulsion containing at least one kind of the compounds represented by the formula (I) shown below, and further the content of the silver halide contained in all of the aforesaid light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers being 7.5% g/m2 or more as calculated on silver, and the content of the silver halide contained in said red sensitive silver halide emulsion being 3.5 g/m2 or more as calculated on silver: Formula ¢I!: wherein, X, R1 and R2 are as defined in the specification.
