PURPOSE:To lead a wire rod continuously into a correcting machine full-automatically without an operator by holding the end of a wire rod pulled out from a wire bundle frame always at a specified position by a guide holding roll provided on the base stand side. CONSTITUTION:A bundle of wire rod 1 wound spirally from inside to outside is placed and supported on a wire bundle frame 2 that rotates with pulling out of the wire rod on the base stand 3. At this time, the end 1' of the wire rod is formed to uncurled straight form and projected in tangential direction of the bundle 1. This pulling out end 1' is held by a guide holding roll 6 provided on the stand 3 at a position of introducing into the feeding roll 5 of a correcting machine 4. The height X of feeding of the wire rod is detected, and an elevating stand 13 is raised and lowered by elevating switches 10, 11, a roll 6 and a lever 8 to keep the height X constant. Te stand 3, frame 3 and roll 6 are unified to make the whole a movable unit, and set successively to specified positions. |
