PURPOSE:To easily remove a rim preform from a die by forming the rim preform equipped with a recessed well part on the peripheral face by using the split die or forming the disk worked from a light alloy blank. CONSTITUTION:The center hole 11 of the disk 12 worked from a light alloy blank is set by fitting to the center pin 13 of the split die 10 for forming. A rim preform R1 is formed by executing spinning by a profiling roll 14 with rotating this die 10 and forming a tyre locking flange 15, bead sheet 16, recessed well 17, etc. This rim preform R1 is easily taken off by opening the die 10 by its splitting. The center of the rim preform R1 is subjected to press punching largely, the flange 25 for fitting a wheel disk in the open contour shape of projecting piece 23 and recessed notch 24 being varied alternately is stamped and the insertion hole 27 of the bolt for fitting the wheel disk to each projecting piece 23 of this fitting flange 25 is opened as well.
