A broadcaster for fertiliser for mounting on a tractor has a large-width fertiliser container arranged transversely to the direction of travel and having a horizontal bottom and discharge orifices which are located near its outer ends and to which the fertiliser is fed, and, in each case, a centrifugal disc which is arranged underneath the discharge orifices and which is pivotable outwards in a horizontal plane. The container is received in a three-point linkage of the tractor, and each centrifugal disc is assigned a hydraulic motor, each of controllable rotational speed. Furthermore, a single cross-conveyor with a conveying direction opposed from the container centre outwards is arranged above the bottom continuous over the entire width and is driven from one side by means of a hydraulic motor.
