PURPOSE:To realize an information control method where the connecting relation is specified between individual information recording units, by adding the data control information, the connecting information and the state control information into a control table for recording information units consisting of a data part and an information control table. CONSTITUTION:When an information recording unit 11 is displayed, the connecting information 11c is obtained out of an information control table 11a and then the information on the position and the size of a connected information recording unit 12 within the unit 11 from the state control information 11d stored in the table 11a of the unit 12 respectively. Then the unit 12 is displayed. Then other information recording units 13 and 14 are also displayed in the same way. Thus a pointer is given to the connecting information to a slave unit for each information recording unit including a data part 11b on the character and graphic information. Then it is possible to realize an information control method where the connecting relation is specified between individual information recording units.
