<??>The lithium concentration [Li<+>] is determined by linear correlation between the electrical conductivity lambda of the cooling water, measured by the measuring means 1 at a given temperature t measured by the measuring means 2. Means 4 for measuring the boron concentration [B] enable, with the aid of calculating means 3, the lithium concentration [Li<+>] to be determined in accordance with the decreasing lithium oxide specification.
