CONSTITUTION:A positioning control device is composed of a motor 1, a position detecting means 2, a comparing means 4, a signal synthesizing means 5, and a driving means 6 and supplies a power source (voltage) signal (f) in proportion to a control signal (e) to the motor 1 and drives it. At this time, a control mode discriminating means 7 is provided, an error signal (c) of a present position (b) and a purpose position (a) outputted by the comparing means 4 is inputted, the deciding result is inputted to the signal synthesizing means 5, a suitable control operation is executed and the control signal (e) is outputted. Thus, at the time of the transition to change a purpose position, the integration action of the above-mentioned signal synthesizing means 5 is prohibited, the motor 1 is quickly settled while an overshooting is pressed to the purpose position, and when an error is within a prescribed range, the above-mentioned integration action is operated and the generation of the steady-state deviation is eliminated.
