PURPOSE:To avoid the deterioration of hole-seal due to whisker-shaped resin, by a method wherein a separator is formed by blanking after part of unwoven fabric to be blanked and cut is heated and fusion-welded. CONSTITUTION:By heat-pressing a resin fiber unwoven fabric 11 in the form of a continuous length with a base 12 and a heater chip 13, a part to be blanked and cut is heated and fusion-welded, and a ring type fusion-welded part 11a is formed. By blanking the unwoven fabric 11 at the fusion-welded part 11a with a blanking die 14, a separator 15 whose peripheral part is heated and fusion-welded. By using the separator 15, a capacitor is assembled in the similar manner to prior arts. Whisker-shaped resin is prevented from remaining in the separator 15. Thereby, the deterioration of hole-seal due to the whisker- shaped resin is avoided. |
