A piezoelectric sensor having parallel connection of the piezoelectric elements of the piezoelectric membrane of bimorphic construction, by means of which an influence of differences of the electrical characteristics such as, for example, temperature-dependent characteristics of the piezoelectric elements, electrostatic capacitance differences and insulation resistance differences are suppressed, so that, by means of the parallel connection of the piezoelectric elements, the level of the disturbance components which depends on a temperature fluctuation is reduced to half the level which occurs in a traditional sensor in which the piezoelectric elements are connected in series.
