<p>PURPOSE:To suppress noise by forming a pump chamber divided by a diaphragm under a substrate having an exhaust hole and an intake hole formed and installing a cover body through a space part over the substrate, in a compact pump suitable for a simple tonometer, etc. CONSTITUTION:A driving shaft 6 inclined by a prescribed angle is fixed onto a collar 5 fixed onto the output shaft 2 of a small-sized dc motor 1. The peripheral part of a driving body 7 fitted with the shaft 6 is moved vertically in succession by the turn of the driving shaft 6. A diaphragm body 14 is extended and contracted by the movement of the driving body 7, and air is sucked through a valve body 31 and an intake hole 23 formed on a circular plate-shaped substrate 20, when the pump chamber 28 in each diaphragm body 14 expands. When the pump chamber 28 is compressed, the pressurized air is discharged into a valve chamber part 24 through a groove part 30 and a valve body part 18 press-opened by the air pressure and discharged from an exhaust hole 25.
