An electrical connector has a housing (1) containing contacts (7) for mating with conductive surfaces on a printed circuit board (not shown) inserted in a slot (9). The contacts have downwardly-extending tail portions (6) cooperating with conductive surfaces (11) on a further printed circuit board (2). The housing (1) is held in contact with the board (2) by one or more pins (3) press-fitted into holes (4) in the board. If the pins (3) serve only a mechanical function, the holes (4) can be plain, as opposed to conductively-treated. <IMAGE> |
