发明名称 RADIOACTIVE FLUID LEAK DETECTOR
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent an operator from committing an operational error and reduce a work load by detecting a liquid remaining on a lower floor surface due to a leakage by a level gage, transporting the liquid by a drain pipe and a transport pipe and detecting the presence or absence of a radioactivity by a radioactivity measuring instrument. CONSTITUTION:When the leakage of a liquid containing a radioactive solution accommodated in a tank 1 is generated and the liquid flows into a pit 9 to raise a liquid level in an installing chamber 4, a level gage 6 detects this and feeds a signal to an alarm controller 18 and a drainage system 15. The controller 18 warns of the generation of the leakage and the system 15 is operated to feed the liquid in the pit 9 to a temporarily storing tank 11 via a drain pipe 10. The liquid in transport passes a radioactivity measuring instrument 16 wherein radioactivity is measured. When a measured value exceeds a prescribed value, a command is fed to a transport apparatus 17 and a transport pipe 13 is changed over to a radioactive waste disposal system, transporting the liquid in the tank 11. When the measured value is below the prescribed value, the transport pipe 13 is connected to a water disposal system, which transports the liquid. When the liquid level in the pit 9 descends, the output of the level gage 6 disappears and the system 15 stops.
