PURPOSE:To produce the titled alloy by incorporating specific ratios of Ni, Si, Fe and Cu into Al. CONSTITUTION:The Al alloy for molding contg., by weight, 0.05-1.0% Ni, 0.1-1.0% Si, 0.1-1.0% Fe and 0.05-1.0% Cu, furthermore contg. at need one or two kinds of 0.1-1.5% Mn and 0.2-5.0% Mg and consisting of the balance Al with inevitable impurities is prepd. The scaling of a film does not occur in the case of blacking and trimming since said Al alloy has excellent shearing workability, and is usable as a closure, ring-pull cap and vessel such as a can for food, etc., because the alloy has suitable strength and excellent moldability.
