PURPOSE:To permit a shift down control to be easily performed in the time of excavating work or the like, by providing a shift down switch to be arranged in the point end grip part of a work machine lever, in the case of a construction vehicle which mounts an automatic transmission. CONSTITUTION:A construction vehicle, which mounts an automatic transmission, has each control means of automatic/manual selector switch 1, transmission lever 2, kickdown switch 3, shift down switch 4, etc. And an electronic control unit 22 operates in accordance with a control of each control means so as to control the automatic transmission. Here the vehicle provides the shift down switch 4, for forcedly performing a shift down from the forward 2-speed to the forward 1-speed despite a car speed, to be arranged in a grip part 4' in the point end of a good controllable work machine lever 4'. In this way, the vehicle, placing a handle to be left as controlled by left hand further the work machine lever 4' to be left as controlled by right hand in the time of excavating work or the like, enables the shift down switch 4 to be controlled. |
