PURPOSE:To prevent unnecessary generation of heat and to stabilize the intensity of laser beam by preventing the output of laser beam from receiving the effect of the intensity of output beam, by using a YAG laser oscillator capable of selecting a plurality of output levels. CONSTITUTION:A part of the YAG laser beam emitted from a YAG laser beam source 1 is reflected by a half mirror 4 to be detected by a beam detector 16 and the intensity signal of the YAG laser beam is outputted to a CPU 27. Hereupon, the CPU 27 counts the pushing number of times of a setting switch 30 and a stroboscope 24 is allowed to emit beam according to the set value corresponding to the count value through an exciting circuit 26. At the same time, the CPU 27 adjusts the attenuation rate of an attenuator 2 through a drive means 29 and a motor 28 to move a shutter 5 to the outside of an optical axis 02 through a drive circuit 17 and guides the YAG laser beam to an eye E to be examined. As mentioned above, by changing the intensity of the laser beam generated from the YAG laser beam source 1 corresponding to the set value, the unnecessary generation of heat in the YAG laser beam source is prevented and the intensity of laser beam can be stabilized. |
