PURPOSE:To smoothly operate s system by effectively initializing a connecting device and starting a communication thereafter. CONSTITUTION:The connecting device 2 is disposed between a facsimile equipment 5 and a computer 1 for transmitting prescribed image information to the facsimile equipment 5 in which the image information is registered and stored. Before the output control instruction of the image information, a reset signal is transmitted to the connecting device 2 from the computer 1 to activate and initialize the connecting device 2. After an initialization completion is communicated to the computer 1 from the connecting device 2, the image information is outputted to the facsimile equipment from the connecting device 2.
