An ink print head of planar design has an integrated resistor array on its diaphragm plate which bears the drive elements, the said resistor array consisting of resistor elements which can be adjusted individually by means of lasers. The ink print head can be welded in a dual INLINE plug-in housing and is arranged on the printer carriage in an interchangeable fashion. The printer carriage is connected via a flexible actuation line to the centralised control unit of the ink printer. The ink print head is actuated in a low-impedance fashion from the centralised control unit. <IMAGE>
