A pallet (1) for clamping on a clamping bed (2) has several holes (4) each of which being provided in a component insert (6), which is connected to the pallet. The component insert (6) is designed in such a way that it is elastically deformable transverse to the direction of insertion in the area of the holes (4). The indexing bolts (5) which are located in the pallet clamping bed (2) each have a shape around their whole circumference which matches the hole (4). Grooves (8, 9) cut into the insert (6) provide the deformability. The bolts (5), also in inserts (18) can be deformable as well. <IMAGE>
