PURPOSE:To improve the safety and sanitary property of the incinerator by supplying a combustion assisting gas from the side wall and bottom part of a vertical type cylindrical incinerator, and incinerating industrial waste from the upper part of the incinerator by use of a high-temperature flame burner. CONSTITUTION:The industrial waste 29 is charged into a vertical type cylindrical incinerator 1 for incinerating industrial waste, a charging port 5 is closed, a high-temperature flame burner 30 is subjected to turning, lifting and lowering, and expanding and contacting operations by a burner operating panel 32, and supplying propane gas thereto to ignite the burner. Air or oxygen is supplied from an assistant gas supplier 9 disposed on the side wall 3 of the incinerator and an assistant gas supplier 14 provided on the bottom 4 thereof, which are disposed for accelerating the combustion of the industrial waste 29. When the industrial waste 29 is started to be burned on a full-scale, the high-temperature flame burner 30 is extinguished and is pulled out of the charging port 5 and a blind lid is applied thereto. By this constitution, industrial waste can be burned rapidly and can be incinerated safely and sanitarily.
