In the case of known converters, a main module supplies a stabilised main output voltage and an AC voltage for supplying auxiliary modules which emit auxiliary output voltages. The auxiliary modules necessitate a relatively large outlay, and the auxiliary voltages produced by them are severely load-dependent. Both are intended to be reduced. The AC voltage is picked off a series circuit formed by the secondary winding of the converter transformer of the main module and that of the winding of an inductor which is magnetised by a current flowing from the rectifier to the energy-storage capacitor of the main module and by the input currents of the auxiliary modules. This results in significant reductions in the load dependency of the auxiliary voltages and in the outlay for the auxiliary modules.
