PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity of a filter, a hanging bar, a hanging ring or the like, reduce the load on a spring for hanging a filter cloth and simplify a filter hanging mechanism by attaching cord-like components at both ends of a boundary section of first filter cloth and a second filter cloth connected in a chain. CONSTITUTION:A first filter cloth 1A and a second filter cloth 1B are into sizes respectively covering filter plates, and said two filter cloths 1A and 1B are connected with several connecting cords 2 consisting of braids braided with fiber yarns for textile in a manner to generate a space in a boundary section 1C of the filter cloths 1A and 1B. Then, braids (braid-like component) 3 similar to said connecting cords 2 are stitched up together in a loop shape at both ends (lugs) on the boundary section 1C of the filter cloths 1A and 1B, and said loop-shaped cord-like components 3 are hung directly on a spring. By said arrangement, the boundary section 1C connecting both cord-like components, left and right, is retained almost linearly, and filter cloths 1A and 1B are hung down with the upper edges straight up and without creases.
