PURPOSE:To suppress an inclination of a head carriage in the direction of torque motion by giving a pressure by a pressure means against such a torque of a different direction from the carriage moving direction as generated to the head carriage. CONSTITUTION:The pressure means consists of a leaf spring 13 and a pressure member 14. The pressure member 14 is pressurized against a side surface of the carriage 1 by a restoring force of the leaf spring 13 due to its elastic deformation, so that the carriage 1 is always pressurized against a torque of an A direction indicated in the figure. Then, since a tip of the pressure member 14 is spherical, even if the carriage 1 is moved, the tip is abutted against the carriage to keep the pressurized condition. By this method, the pressure against the torque of the A direction can be given, and the inclination of the carriage 1 toward the A direction can hence be suppressed, so that the carriage 1 is moved along a guide bar 2 without inclining, to carry out the reproducing properly.
