PURPOSE:To switch a camera to telephoto and wide by a simple constitution, by allowing an afocal converter to be turnable between a photographing part and a finder part of a camera body, and switching it. CONSTITUTION:A photographing part 5 and a finder part 6 are provided on a camera body 1. An afocal converter 2 is contained in a recessed part 6b of its finder part 6, and attached so as to be freely turnable to the body 1 side by a turning member 3. In such a state, at the time of a standard mode as shown in (A), the afocal converter 2 is set to the finder part 6. Also, at the time of a telephoto mode as shown in (B), the afocal converter 2 is turned and set in front of the photographing part 5, and allowed to function as a telephoto lens. Moreover, at the time of a wide mode as shown in (C), the afocal converter 2 is set in front of the photographing art 5, and allowed to function as a wide lens by attaching a frame body 8 of an optical member, whose front and rear are reverse, into a cylindrical body 7. Accordingly, since the afocal converter is turned between the finder part and the photographing part, it is used as both the telephoto and the wide converters, and can be miniaturized at a low cost.
