发明名称 PRODUCTION OF LIQUID CRYSTAL PANEL
摘要 PURPOSE:To decrease the dielectric breakdown of oriented films in a panel by static electricity by adhering a polarizing plate stuck with a protective film directly to a light emitting surface of a light source, then stripping the protective film to form an integrated light source with the polarizing plate and joining the light source and a liquid crystal panel. CONSTITUTION:The polarizing plate 7 on the display surface side of the liquid crystal panel 11 is adhered in the state of being stuck with the protective film 9 to a front side glass substrate 6 by using a self-adhesive resin spread on the rear surface thereof and passing the plate between rubber rollers. On the other hand, the polarizing plate 8 on the rear side of the panel assembly is superposed on the EL light source 12 formed to a flat plate shape and is passed between pressurized rubber rollers, by which the integrated light source 13 is formed. Static electricity is generated of course in this case, but the destruction of the EL light source 12 does not arise. After the protective film 10 is stripped, the light source is joined by a resin for adhesion to the liquid crystal panel 11 to which the polarizing plate 7 is previously adhered. The dielectric breakdown of the oriented films in the panel by the static electricity generated in the adhering stage, etc., is thereby greatly decreased and the yield of the panel production is improved.
