PURPOSE:To filter various slurry liquids efficiently by allowing a center pin to pass through the center of filter. CONSTITUTION:A center pin 9 is inserted in the cylindrical center direction of a cylindrical filter 8 provided in a filter housing 1 so that the parallel flow velocity of slurry liquid from a slurry flow inlet 1a to a recycle discharge outlet 1c may be high on a filtration surface. As a result, it is possible to increase the parallel flow velocity on the filtration surface near a cake layer even by a pump with a small discharge capacity through utilization of the center pin 9. Thus the attachment of solids is efficiently prevented to enhance the filtration efficiency.
