PURPOSE:To improve reliability, by interposing a permanent magnet between central parts of a first magnetic core, having the section of U-shape and one part thereof is fitted to the inside of the other part thereof. CONSTITUTION:A linear pulse motor is constituted of central parts 1, 2 and a pair of opposing legs 3, 6 and is provided with a pair of first magnetic cores 15, 16, formed with magnetic pole teeth 7-10 on the end face thereof and wound with coils 11-14, a permanent magnet 17, interposed between the central parts 1, 2 of the first cores 15, 16, and a second magnetic core 19 having a magnetic pole teeth 18, while the second magnetic core 19 is constituted movably in the same direction as the arranging direction of the legs 3, 6 with respect to the first magnetic cores 15, 16. According to this constitution, the permanent magnet 17 is interposed between the central parts of the first cores 15, 16, in which one part thereof is fitted to the inside of the other part thereof, therefore, the magnetizing direction of the permanent magnet 17 may be single direction. Accordingly, the permanent magnet 17 may be magnetized after assembling and a problem such as the adhesion of iron powder or the like during assembling may be eliminated.
