PURPOSE:To facilitate the updating processing such as adding, deleting and correcting by preparing table data with the column name of plural designated columns and a column value as the column value of the column managed by each directory information. CONSTITUTION:A column name extracting means 40 extracts the column name of plural columns and the length designated from directory information 30-a stored in a pre-processing table storing area 30 and stores them into a column name memory area 50. A column definition information generating means 60 generates novel directory information 80-a based on the contents of the memory area 50 and directory information 30-1 and stores them into an after-processing table storing area 80. A table data generating means 70 generates novel table data 80-b as the column value of a column based on table data 30-b in the storing area 30 and the novel directory information 80-1 and stores them into the storing area 80. Thus, the updating processing such as adding, deleting and correcting can be facilitated.
