PURPOSE:To easily carry out needle planting operation tracing even and irregular or complicate pattern, by driving a needle planting means, transversal transfer means and base cloth feeding means with separate driving apparatuses and controlling each driving apparatus with an NC control means. CONSTITUTION:A main body 1 is provided with a needle planting means to plant a nearly U-shaped needle wire on a supplied base cloth along a direction of theta axis penetrating the base cloth, a transversal transfer means 4 to transfer the base cloth along the direction of width (direction of X axis) and a base cloth feeding means 5. The needle planting means, the transversal transfer means and the base cloth feeding means are driven by driving apparatuses 6, 7, 8, respectively. The driving apparatuses 6, 7, 8 are controlled with a controlling means constructed of an NC unit 10, a personal computer 11, etc.
