METHOD FOR COATING PHOTOSENSITIVE LIQUID TO PHOTOSENSITIVE PRINTING PLATE

PURPOSE:To remove air bubbles in a photosensitive liquid by returning the return liquid by scraping via a circulation path to a vat, providing a filter to the circulation path and radiating ultrasonic waves via the liquid to the filter surface from the side of the filter where the liquid enters. CONSTITUTION:The air bubbles in the return liquid from a blade are removed by a defoaming device X and the return liquid is returned in the form of contg. no air bubbles to a uniform supply pipe 9 and, therefore, the pinhole defects in the case of coating the photosensitive liquid S on the surface of a base 1 is prevented. A defoaming device of a filter system provided with an ultrasonic wave oscillator is used for this device X. The device X is provided with the cylindrical filter 21 in a liquid chamber 20 so that the return photosensitive liquid flows from the outside surface side of the filter 21 to the inside surface side and the annular ultrasonic wave oscillator 22 is disposed around the chamber 20. Cooling liquid 23 for heat generation is run between said oscillator 22 and the chamber 20. The cooling liquid 23 is connected to a cooler (not shown) so that the heat thereof is removed by the cooler.
