PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless LAN system which provides a mobile user with an access point to a wireless LAN connected to home ADSL or optical communication lines, increases the chance the mobile user utilizes the wireless LAN, and discounts the charge of a wired high speed network according to the quantity of use by the mobile user, thereby lowering the charge and increasing the subscribers. SOLUTION: The network system is installed at a communication carrier and accessible also from client terminals of other than subscribers via a wireless LAN of the subscribers. The system reduces the charge for a subscriber using it according to the line use quantity by other than the subscriber. The system has an ID extractor for extracting a company ID showing a communication carrier and a user ID from an identifier in inputted packets and a user history database having records of the number of packets in a predetermined period as the line use quantity, corresponding to the company ID and the user ID every subscriber.
