PURPOSE:To obtain an agricultural and horticultural fungicide showing excellent fungicidal effects on blast of rice plant and gray mold of cucumber, comprising an amine compound such as N-(4-t-butylbenzyl)-N-methyl-1-naphthylmethylamine as an active ingredient. CONSTITUTION:An agricultural and horticultural fungicide comprising an amine compound shown by formula I [R1 is group shown by formula II (R6 is H, halogen, alkyl or nitro), formula III (X is S, N or O) or formula IV (p is 3-6); R2-R4 are H or alkyl; R5 is group shown by formula V (R7 is alkyl or cycloalkyl) or formula VI; m and n are 0, 1 or 2] or an acid addition salt thereof[e.g. N-(5-t-butyl-2-thienylmethyl)-N-methyl-1-naphthylmethylamine] as an active ingredient. The fungicide shows fungicidal action on downy mildew and blight caused by Pseudomonas lachrymans of cucumber in 50-1,000ppm concentration.
