Intake pipe for an internal combustion engine

An intake pipe 1 for the combustion air of an internal combustion engine has an acoustically efficient lining 2, which is designed as plate resonator for the absorption of low-frequency intake noises. For this purpose, the lining 2 is composed of a closed-cell material, which is arranged at a distance from the inner surface 4 of the pipe 1 and is supported on the inner surface 4 by way of webs 3. The inner surface 5 of the lining 2 is smooth, in order to keep the flow resistance of the combustion air low.
