<p>PURPOSE:To perform sure control with less operations, by providing the tape mounting switch, tape mounting release switch and control circuit, in the control circuit for digital magnetic tape unit. CONSTITUTION:Tape is mounted on the reels and the power switch is turned on. Next, when the load switch 1 is ON, the tape drive system ON circuit 7 is operated to make the tape enable for running. Simultaneously, the flip flop 15 is set, the forward running circuit 18 is operated, and the tape runs forward up to the memory area start point BOT. When the tape runs a little forward, the BOT marker is detected at the marker detector 3, and forward run is also stopped. Further, the tail edge detection circuit 20 detects the tail edge of the set output pulse of the flip flop 15, the filp flop 24 is set, and the ON line circuit 25 is operated into ON line state. Thus, sure control can be made with less number of operations.</p> |
