PURPOSE:To simplify the mechanism of a device by driving a moving member, whose length corresponds to the number of rotations corresponding to the life of a constituting member of a specific process unit, synchronously with the constituting member and setting this moving member to the unit. CONSTITUTION:A driving shaft 12 rotated synchronously with the constituting member of a specific process unit 1 is provided, and the moving member like a tape 11 is wound around the driving shaft 12. In this case, the life of the specific unit is preliminarily detected and the length of the tape 11 is set in accordance with the number of rotations corresponding to the life of this member. Thus, the life of the constituting member of the process unit 1 is accurately recognized and the constitution of a rotation number detecting mechanism is simplified. |
