<p>PURPOSE:To constantly maintain recording in a one-dot recording condition, conform control of recording to the conditions for one-dot recording and restrain density from being varied according to record patterns, by separating record dots constituting a block for simultaneous recording from each other by a predetermined number of dots, and recording in a split manner on a block basis so that adjacent dots are not recorded in a continuous manner. CONSTITUTION:The collectors of driving transistors 7 of a thermal head are connected to a common electrode 2 through discrete electrodes 3 and heat generating resistors 1, respectively. A strobe signal 9 is applied to one input of each AND circuit 8, whereas image data 10 is applied to the other input, and the output side of the circuit 8 is connected to the base of the transistor 7. The resistors 1 for simultaneous recording are separated from each other by i (i >= 5) dots, and adjacent ones of the resistors are prevented from being energized to record in a continuous manner. Therefore, each of the resistor is not effected by the thermal history of the surrounding resistors, and recording can be performed in a one-dot recording condition.</p> |
