PURPOSE:To return to an operation mode before interruption is applied, after an interrupting operation is ended, by providing a means for storing an operating state of a television receiver, and returning an operating state of the television receiver to the storage contents at the time of inputting a trigger signal, after the interrupting operation is ended. CONSTITUTION:In a controller 25 of a video interrupting device 7, a resending code of a code resending part 25e is inputted to a mode storage part 25c and a channel storage part 25d, and it is stored therein that a television receiver is receiving a broadcast of a specific channel by ON operation of a power source at present. When the time set by a time setting device 26 is counted up by a timer circuit 25g, a mode before interruption is applied and a control signal of a channel number are sent to the code resending part 25e from the mode storage part 25d and the channel storage part 25d. In such a way, by the code sent out of the code resending part 25e, the television receiver is returned to an operating state before interruption is applied.
