PURPOSE:To reliably protect a driving portion from obstruction on road surface, to improve cooling efficiency and to prevent the occurrence of trouble due to heat by forming a running wind intake and a cooling wind exhaust port between mating faces of a cover and an exhaust control valve. CONSTITUTION:In a vehicle including an exhaust control valve 20 for changing the area of an exhaust passage, which is disposed below an engine loaded near the center of a car body, a Bowden wire 38 connected to a driving portion on the exhaust control valve 20 side is extended backward from the exhaust control valve 20. A cover 46 for covering the driving portion is fixed to the exhaust control valve 20. A cooling wind intake 48 directing forward and a cooling wind exhaust port 50 surrounding the wire 38 and directing backward are formed between mating faces of the exhaust control valve 20 and the cover 46. Thus the driving portion can be favorably protected from obstruction on road surface by the cover 46, and as the running wind favorably flows inside the cover 46, the efficiency of cooling the driving portion and the wire 38 is good to inhibit the occurrence of a trouble due to heating.
