PURPOSE:To display document information of a storage means on a designated display output position by storing each character and symbol of the document information, and the display output position by allowing them to correspond to each other. CONSTITUTION:Document information is inputted from an input means 1, and a display output position of each character and symbol of the document information is indicated by a position indicating means PTN. A storage means RAM 4 stores each character and symbol TXT of the document information and the corresponding display output position POS by allowing them to correspond to each other. As for the document information TXT of the storage means RAM 4, pattern information is stored, based on a character generator CG by an output means, and displayed on a display part 6.
