PURPOSE:To obtain a stable recording material, by incorporating at least one specified coloring matter into a recording layer. CONSTITUTION:A recording layer can be provided by an ordinary means such as vapor deposition and application of a solution. The recording layer can be provided by using at least one coloring matter of formula I, either singly or in combination, and the at least one coloring matter may be used in combination with other coloring matter. Namely, the coloring matters may be used in the form of a mixture or a laminate. In the formula, each of R1, R2, Y and Z is hydrogen, a substd. or unsubstd. alkyl or alkoxyl, halogen, nitro or cyano, R is hydrogen, a substd. or unsubstd. alkyl, substd. or unsubstd. alkoxyl, substd. or unsubstd. aryl, substd. or unsubstd. thienyl or cyclohexyl. |
