The invention relates to a swivel joint, especially a conventional constant-velocity swivel joint, which has means for the axially elastic take-up of travel. For this purpose, a sleeve body is provided on at least one half of the joint, preferably on the outer part of the joint, and two parallel, flexurally soft diaphragm discs are provided, seated on the inside of which is a shaft journal. This gives an axially flexible connection which is nevertheless stiff in bending and torsionally rigid between the respective part of the joints and the shaft end connected to it. <IMAGE>
