PURPOSE:To enable the uniform heating, without generating difference partially in progress of developing or transferring by heating the titled material, while interposing and carrying it, forming a carrying passage of the titled material with only carrying rollers put in adjacent positions. CONSTITUTION:The heat developable photosensitive material 16 and an image receiving paper 32 which are laminated with each other and are carried, are heated by passing between each pairs of thermal rollers 50 in this order in the titled device 28, and the image exposed on the titled material is thermally developed, followed by transferring the image on the image receiving paper 32. The titled material 16 and the image receiving paper 32 are heated by heating each heating rollers 50 having heaters 60, 62 and 64. And, fine wrinkles are formed on the titled material 16 and the image receiving paper 32 by interposing them between each thermal rollers 50 and carrying. But, as the titled material 16 and the image receiving paper 32 which are laminated with each other, are interposed between the pair of the heating rollers 50 with some extent pressure, and are carried, the fine wrinkles are stretched under the pressure, thereby enabling a uniform heating of the titled material.
